people have been telling me to do one of these for ages now, but i was never sure how to go about it. since no one has ever taught me how to use my markers, i don't know how i was supposed to teach anyone else.
 so here are som basic tips for beginners with Prismacolor markers, as well as a few other helpful hints thrown in.Someday when i can afford new markers (read: the 12th of never), i'll do a tutorial with one drawing starting from the beginning. But that'll probably never happen now. ._. The biggest thing to remember is you need LOTS of practice with markers! I've been using them now for 3 years. And look at the difference between my Owen and Abby pics, which were done about a year apart. It may be slow, but it's an improvement. Full-view or download for the tutorial! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
