FINALLY! I thought of something!

Presenting the Most Improved Manga/Anime Artist contest!

Here's how it works. Take an old picture from your gallery - something uploaded in the year 2006 - and redraw it to the best of your ability. The same character, pose, outfit, background and etc., but using the skills you've picked up in the last year to make it look better than ever.

CONTEST RULES:
You have to present both images when submitting to the contest. I.e., the picture has to be something from in your DA gallery from 2006. You submit both links when entering. Include a link to the old image in the description of your contest submission (this is important!).
This is a contest by the Manga/Anime GDs, so the art style used should be as such.
You can use any media to recreate the image. It doesn't have to be the same media as the old image.
The new image has to resemble the old one in content, but will hopefully show a great improvement in skill and technique.

Those we feel who show the greatest leap forward in skill will win! There will be three winners and prizes!

The contest does not officially start until this Wednesday, so there will be no news post or upload category until then. I'll name the contest prizes & due date then as well. This just gives you a few days to think about what you want to work on. The judges will be myself and the other M/A GDs, ^Karma021 and ^RockGirl1582, but please send any questions to me.
