Hello, I have a question, how do I make people visit and post in my forum? ^__^ I'm not sure if I'm being an ass asking this in yours but I can't get people there, and everyone else makes it look so easym, if you build it they will come type of deal... Maybe Formum God doesn't like me... But why? I never blasphemised about the Forum God (all other gods... ah... maybe... but not the Forum One)!

Hmm. Well since i just started this one and you're the first person to respond, so i can't say i've had much experience. But i'd have to say remind people about it A LOT. Be like "We're having this rad conversation over in my forum, you should all come and join, i'd like your opinions." Advertise it a lot too. And make sure no one acts like an ass in it. One of the big reasons i have left all forums but one over the years is b/c of nasty awful board trolls. And the one board i am still with...poeple like that are dealt with swiftly. Which is why i've decreed that that particular message board will be the only one i am a member of anymore.

Personally, I know my big problem with message boards is my lack of attention. I can't stick with them; they either move too slow or too fast, or the conversations aren't interesting enough. So i'd say, just keep it interesting and keep reminding everyone that they exist and are cool. hope i could help!

There aren't many people ther and so far noone's being an ass. I'll try to pimp it more. By the way, what is a forum troll? I often heard it, and I know they're bad, but I never heard a definition ^^

basically just jackasses on the web who think they can puch you around with their sparkling lack-of-wit and childish taunts. Like once, i was enjoying this one message board i had just joined, when three guys just decided to rip my scant few posts apart for no real reason, going as so far as to pick on the handle i chose (i forget which one it was at th ime tho, but that's not important). This has happened at EVERY forum i have eve joined, save the Selfies forum [link] , who happen to be perhaps the nicest and down-right most hysterically funny people on the net.
