Does your art suck, but you don't care? Do people tell you to stop drawing, get lessons, get a life? Do you say, screw that homeboy, i'll draw whatever the hell pleases me?! Have you realized that your art is going nowhere, but you just draw for the love of it?
Well my friend, we welcome you. Become a member of The League of Extraordinary Hacks.
We draw crap. We have no skill, no talent. We upload masterful doodles that cause other deviants to writhe in agony. And it doesn't matter if you've been drawing for two months, two years, or twenty years. Your art sucks, it will always suck, and for that you love it.
I say we band together. LOVE what you draw no matter what it looks like. I've spent 23 years hating every thing i have ever so much as doodled, but i've had an epiphany. I LOVE MY AWFUL DRAWINGS. I'm never going to get any better than i am, and i have to live with that. And if you can't love the crap you draw, what's the point?
Sure, you still welcome constructive critisism, we always love to learn, right? I know i do. But sometimes talents can only take you so far. But is sucking gonna stop YOU?! Hell no!
So join today. Everyone who continues polluting DAs bandwith with junky artwork is welcome. Drawings, photos, renders, whatever. you have accidently stumbled upon one of my personal crusades while i have been here at DA.
though my art is constantly developing and improving, i also don't much care what everyone else thinks of it and would continue to draw it no matter what was said about it.
i draw because it is in my blood, and i love doing it.
but i am tired of seeing the artists here who don't have either the talent or energy to improve on their form of artistic expression get bullied and put down by the other artists here (especialy by photographers for some reason).
all art is a personal expression, even if it does look quite bad, and has a right to exist here.
though i can't realy fully join this 'club' due to the quality of my own art, i'd still like to be a half member or something, to show my support.
just say no to the artistic elitists at DA!
