The last few contests have kind of fallen flat, and the character swaps are getting stale. Obviously,
it's time for a change! And I'd like to hear what you guys'd like to do.

Ideas don't have to be exclusively for the Anime gallery either. Activities for one and all or
collaborative ideas are also welcome. Has there ever been any projects you wish DA has done but
has yet to do? Now's your chance! I'm looking to host some big things, so please share.

I've been trying to get ~ArtisticWeek and ~FandomWeek off the ground...

Only three has shown signs of interested and no deviations yet...and this is ~ArtisticWeek's third day...

Whatelse...definitely more projects for the anime and manga gallery but what...? Maybe something dealing with OCs?

Hmm... I'm not sure if this has ever been a contest, but I like the idea of making an illustration to a book from literature's classics. Of course the picture would be to encourage people to read these incredible works, that are now neglected or hated as something you have to deal with at school. And if that makes someone see them in different light, start to read something else besides Harry Potter and Twilight - it would be a good thing.

Another idea is a contest for a best folklore inspired picture. Every country has interesting traditions and culture, I think we could learn alot from it.

Maybe I'm boring, but I like it when art has a mission.

Those are a good idea, I wish I had the time to draw something every day though. I'll pimp them out next journal!

Yeah, OC stuff is fine, just anime style in general. Or applying anime style to other things (like we were trying witht eh vector contest).

The thing is you can start drawing any time prior...it is just that you must submit on that day.

Totally...I wanted to do an anime vector contest but I really didn't know about the Day or the Dead that well and I would have wanted to experience first hand with that holiday...
